Departure Hotel Belem at 7h00 – Speed boat 8h00 – Arrival Marajo 10h00 – Transfer SIB to pousada or hotel; Arrival at 10H15. Lunch not included. Afternoon guided tour at a typical Marajo Fazenda (ranch). Trekking for 3 hs on the fields of the ranch for wildlife and bird watching as well as water buffaloes and horses until sunset. (egrets, scarlet ibis, herons monkeys, sloths). Dinner not included and overnight at Pousada.
After breakfast, canoe ride through the mangrove toward the empty beach of Araruna observing the fauna and flora of the area. Lunch at leisure (not included) at fishermen’s restaurant. In the afternoon, walk along the coast at Barra Velha toward the point of Garrote beach, a sandbank in the middle of the estuary of Paracauary river and Marajo bay Return to Soure in the end of the afternoon passing by Soure’ s house light after crossing of a creek. Dinner at leisure (not included) and overnight.
After breakfast, visit Soure with stops at a buffalo leather artisan as well as a local Marajoara potter. Lunch at leisure not included.
