The Amazon Clipper Premium was achieved in January 2005. The boat is built in the traditional style of the Amazon but offers a comfortable interior. Its texture and slim design are ideal for navigating the rivers of the Amazon. Transported canoes allow movement in areas that are inaccessible to larger boats.
Description:
Lounge and restaurant with air conditioning, two observation decks and terraces, showers, two Jacuzzis well maintained. Ideal for customers who are also in the jungle without giving up the pleasant comfort. A modern and generously equipped galley. Very good food and a great selection of drinks. No credit cards accepted, only cash. Full board. drinks not included.

3 days / 2 nights from Monday to Wednesday
Day 1 – Monday
Transfer from the hotel or from Manaus airport to the Amazon Clipper. After a welcome drink onboard tour of the “meeting of the waters”, the meeting of the Rio Negro and Rio Solimoes. By late afternoon canoe trips into the jungle.
Day 2 – Tuesday
various birds and wildlife watching on a canoe trip. Visit a local family (caboclos) and piranha fishing in the afternoon.
Day 3 – Wednesday
Canoeing and observing animals. An English / Portuguese bilingual scientific guide accompanies each tour as in the jungle hikes, “Alligator spotting”, visit the caboclos, the indigenous inhabitants of the region who live mostly on the river. Make a great trip to the Amazon and watch the great nature up close! Return to Manaus. Transfer to the hotel or the Manaus airport.
4 days / 3 nights from Wednesday to Saturday
Day 1 – Wednesday
Meet in the lobby of the Hotel Tropical at 14:00. Boarding and departure upstream on the Rio Negro. While drinking fresh juice, we listen to information about devices. After a snack we take in the reading room for lectures on the Amazon which gives you a good basis for understanding the conservation and ecology of the Amazon. After dinner, we explore small creeks in our canoes and listen to the sounds of nocturnal animals, with the possibility of watching birds, frogs, snakes and caimans.
Day 2 – Thursday
Early this morning we explore the area along the water edge in our canoes while we mainly find fruit-eating birds such as parrots and toucans. After breakfast, we take a walk of the jungle where we discover surprising fragrances in leaves, fruits, wood and animals. Around noon, we return to the boat and swim in the river. In the afternoon we sail through the Anavilhanas National Park, one of the largest freshwater archipelago in the world, a labyrinth of waterways. In the late afternoon, we board canoes and are learning more about this wonderful park.
Day 3 – Friday
Early morning we spend a little time fishing for piranhas and other fish. After breakfast, we will visit a local village where there are many typical Amazonian fruits like Cupuaçu and Tapereba, palm trees like Açaí, and Tucumã Pupunha. We learn about the preparation of cassava flour and the situation of the health and education of children. After lunch, we meet on the white sand beaches and swim in the dark water while watching pink dolphins. In the late afternoon, we explore the jungle by canoe and observe wildlife. Then dinner is served.
Day 4 – Saturday
Early morning we explore the Janauary ecological park. This is usually a very good place to observe wildlife and there is a good chance to see the giant water lilies. During breakfast the ship takes us to the confluence of the two largest rivers in the world; The Amazon and the Rio Negro. Now it’s time to go to the pier of the Tropical Hotel back, while we enjoy a magnificent view of Manaus waterfront. Arrival at 11:30. End of services.
